I'm interested in learning some, but the only one that I know of is the Yellow River Concerto, and that's too difficult. There's a good deal of like Dunno if it would be too hard though. Maybe pieces from the Little Mermaid suite?Caledon accident yesterday
I think that's a fairly common Chinese piece to play. They are somewhat like Schumann Scenes from Childhood. There is a piece called sunflowers by wang. Its absolutely beautiful. The link underneath is Yundi li playing the piece.Chopin - Polonaise, Op. 53 (Kissin)
This piece sounds a bit difficult tho. I heard a neat set of pieces by Chassins - 3 Chinese Pieces. Obviously he's not Chinese, but it was still sort of a nice set. My favorite was "Rush Hour in Hong Kong. When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.Mono udpclient

Actually, don't get me started, there's millions I can think of. I know there is a nice piano arrangement for liu yang he around, and I've seen it played on youtube.

Couldn't talk to an expert directly as people experienced with piano are very rare at my place. By 'good' i mean a better choice than pearl river. A good digital is also fine, but not a keyboard. Don't buy pearl river. It would be like buying a chinese moped - japanese mopeds last 20 years. Chinese last 1 year if you are lucky.
They are low-end Chinese pianos. Pretty much all pianos that are made in China are not very good - that is not because they aren't good at making it, but people looking to capitalize off the Western budget piano market have made it as such. There are ones made in Indonesia - those aren't very good either. The Japanese and Korean pianos are better but some are made in indonesia.
The conservatory line of Yamaha or the RX pianos of Kawaii are good pianos. They can be expensive, but buying a used one from 10 years ago may be arguably a better choice since they were completely made in Japan - those usually run somewhere near 10k to 15k. There is a brand called henry miller or essex that was "designed by steinway" but it is still a Chinese piano.
Could you get a decent grand for k? Not likely. Personally, I'd rather a good electric yamaha CP than a horrible grand. The CP is the best I've played. Those are the workhorses - while their other models are the budget lines. I've owned a number of pianos. If I can't get a decent grand piano which would cost kI would not buy an upright. Clavinovas are good, but in my opinion - the CP feels more like a grand.
There are these gimick pianos with "real action" but no strings - don't fall for that. And it's now the Worlds best selling piano I own a Ritmuller upright which I purchased 8 years ago. I am happy with the quality and the sound. I tune the Piano myself so I know what is inside. I dont say that they are much better quality than the Stainway, Yamaha etc. Pearl River Pianos are good quality and sound great. Pearl River too has skilled and experienced team who make the Pianos with utmost care.
If you want to pay for a brand its your choice and what you can afford.Cox open ports
The bottom line is lots of brands and models available saying its worth your purchase. When you need something not want something you will buy what you can afford evaluating the quality for your budget. The above replies are so wrong and misleading.Home Help Search.
